Dear Laura, It is with a very sad heart that we are writing to you to inform you that we had to put our dear beloved Zoey to sleep on April 8, 2010. She never complained, but her liver cancer, which was diagnosed in February, proved too much for her to bear. So we had no choice.
Zoey’s absence is
at times very difficult to bear. Our dog sitter called her a gentle soul, and
that is an apt description of her. Nearly 14 years of joy tempers the loss, and
if we had to do it all over again, we certainly would.
We have
attached a few of the hundreds of pictures that we have of Zoey,
and we thank you for giving us this great bundle of joy, who made our lives
richer and much fuller.
